7700 springs installed.

With my truck getting up in age and stuff wearing out, I replaced my rear leaf springs (3+1) with some off a 7700 series truck. The donor truck also had a 3+1 spring pack, and seem to be a bit more firm on the ride, which is what I was looking for. It also makes for hauling firewood a lot better!

So they just bolt on with no issue?
I might get a cheap pair just to try. Did they lift the rear any?

Ideally, I am looking for lift springs, but those cost $800. If I can get some 7700s and just use some blocks, I will call it a day.

jimbo74,
The ones I got were off a 2wd single cab long bed. They fit my super cab regular 6 1/2' bed, 4wd, 8.8" axle with no problem. No issues from installing them that I remember. Re-used my original u-bolts and spacers for the install. I'm pretty sure they did not lift the rear any, but restored a proper ride heigh in my opinion. Picked the springs up pretty cheap at a local junkyard.

Here's a pic of the truck as it sits now with 265/75-16 snow tires and the 7700 series leaf springs (3+1)
