V6 4.2L fuel pressure specifications

I've been reading in the forums about fuel pressure specifications. It appears there are two types of fuel systems for this generation of vehicle. A single line system and a dual line system.

Models with return fuel system 97-2004 @ idle
--Vacuum hose attached: 28-45psi
--Vacuum hose detached: 40-50psi

Models with returnless fuel system at idle
--2001 to 2004: 35-55psi
I've been looking for an official source of info to verify this but had no luck. My Chilton manual does not list this information.

Does anybody have a link to an official source of fuel specs ?

All gasoline F150s of this generation are return-type.

Returnless started in 2004 with the new body style. Return type specs are 28 to 40, and will rise at least 5 with vacuum disconnected. This is not "official".
