Name of our bed

What bed do I have? It is the flat sided bed, 6.5' long.

The reason I ask, is sometimes I see styleside, fleetside, flareside, or stepside.

I would assume it is a fleetside, but you know what happens when someone assumes... you buy the wrong part haha

Flareside is the designation Ford uses to refer to a stepside truck bed, while Styleside (what you have) is their designation for a standard truck bed. Chevrolet and GMC use the terms stepside and fleetside respectively.

Would be the styleside. Just 5.5 feet. Same as the supercrew. It does use the same lights as the flare side.

The Styleside *IS* the "regular" bed.

The H-D is a Supercrew, so it uses the Supercrew bed, which is similar to the Flareside but without the fender bulges and side steps.

So wouldn't the supercrew/hd bed be a styleside like mine, but only 5.5' and flareside lights?

Essentially but it's not called Styleside, because it's the only bed type available on a 01-03 Supercrew.

I always thought it was regular, styleside and flareside.

Styleside and flareside only had one size while the regular bed either came as a shortbed or long bed

A "regular" bed is a Styleside. Yes, it comes in different lengths.
