8.8 rear end

my question is can i drain all the oil out of the rear end and replace it with a grease? will it hurt the gearsor axel bearings just curious

I was curious too. Grease in there will not work. It will cavitate on the inside of the case, and allow the gears to run with no lubrication. Good bye rear end....
