2002 F150 XLT Triton - Stuck in park, no high beams, no dome light

I am posting here for some help. I drove my truck to a gas station. Everything worked fine then. I was out fishing and got into my truck a couple times, but when I was ready to leave. I opened my driver soor and usually the dome light would come on, but didnt. I tried the switch and nothing. Was thinking it might have blown or something. I start my truck in park, but suddenly wouldnt move out of park. I was thinking there connected. I seen on this forum how people turned there key one time and put it in natural to start then drive. That worked. I seen the park issue is a common problem with thia truck, but I have no clue why my dome like wont work and niether dose my high beams. I thought it was weird that I had all thia isaue all at the same time. Any help is appreciated.

Be sure fuse #6 in the dash panel is good and seated. See page 207 in owner manual.
Read about Shift inter lock operation and a second way to get it to operate providing there is no fault. See page 169.
