1998 4.2l V6 fuel pump

Can I use a Walbro 255 (or similar) fuel pump as a replacement? I have a whole box of them from various project cars, and the old F150 pump is just about done.

The only reason not to that I can think of is maybe the Wally putting out a pressure that something in the F150 doesn't like. ?

Pressure won't be an issue. Fit may be.

Thanks. I ended up just buying a whole replacement hangar assembly with pump, float, sender, etc. from Rock Auto for around $100.

I decided I don't want to pull the stupid bed by myself again just to replace a faulty sender or something after cobbling a used pump into the thing.
