Supply the following info'
1.Does this happen in first gear at 10 mph?
2. Does it happen in 4th gear at 10 mph?
3. Does this happen at higher speeds over 40 mph?

There could be some issue but overall 10 mph in second is inviting the jerking you experience.
The whole drive train clearance gets to lashing back and forth.
Once you disengage the drive train it goes away.
Check for driveshaft cross joint slop, rear ring to pinion excessive clearance, engine and trans broken mounts etc.
All these add up over time and can cause the issue you have.
Good luck.

My similarly equipped truck doesn't buck in 10 mph in 2nd gear - in fact I can easily start off in 2nd.

I think it's ignition related. How many miles are on your plugs, wires, and coil? What brand are the plugs and wires?
