Swapping out the factory wheels

I have a 2002 ford f150 fx4 4wd and it has 265/70/17 tires and 17 inch factory wheels, and i want to know if i can put the factory wheels of my other truck on the fx4 truck. My other wheels are factory 16 inch stx sport wheels with mud tires size 265/70/16. They are also from a 2002 ford f150 truck. Only why I'm wanting to swap is that i just bought the truck and it has bald tires on it and i don't have the money right now to buy new ones.

Yes you can, use the lug nuts for those wheels. Your speedometer will be a bit off, it's going to read high.

Thank you. I thought they would fit. Both sets of tires that i have are the same height it just the wheels are different size. One set of wheels are 16 inch and the other set are 17 inch.

The 17 inchers are actually 1 inch taller. Your speedo will be 3% fast.

Thanks for the information. I will be doing the swap this weekend. My tires that i be using that i have and had no issues with them, they are great off road is Fierce Attitude M\T. They are way better than the factory replacement Goodyear bald junk thats on the truck now.
