1998 4.6 no spark

this truck don't have any spark, a noid light will flash 3 times, then quit until I turn off the key and try it again, the crank sensor is new and with a break out box hooked up I get steady a/c voltage, there is good fuel pressure, and with the ids hooked up I only get a second or so of cranking rpm, no trouble codes, at times it will try and start when letting off the key after cranking it, I tried a different computer with no change

I would suspect the ignition switch.

Doesn't a remote starter switch turn the engine over even if the key is OFF? If so, your test is inconclusive.

I think the OP confused on ignition switch...

This is NOT the ignition switch

THIS IS AN IGNITION SWITCH:

You may have had it ON, but if the switch is bad it may not be closing all the required contacts. It may have a loose or dirty/corroded connector.

well I got it running again, the shop that worked on it before it came to me replaced a lot of parts, the replaced the crank sensor along with the connector for it, and when they made the connections they reversed the 2 wires, I put them the other way and it started right up
