Brakes stuck
Brakes stuck
This is a rather odd problem. My front right (passenger side) brake is sticking for some reason. At low speed it doesn't seem to be a problem, probably still stuck, just not enough friction on the pad to cause it to really heat up. I've replaced master cylinder, bake booster, brake lines (front only) , calipers and pads and still it continues.
My question is this: What actually causes the calipers to retract to non-braking position after braking?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you release the brake pedal, the fluid pressure is relieved back to the master cylinder and the pads are slightly pushed back by the irregularities in the rotor surface. If the pads are slightly rubbing the rotors, that is normal.
It's definitely not running normal. I can take it out on the interstate and front right will quickly super overheat to the point its bucking.

The odd thing is when i remove the caliper and spread it like you would to put new pads in then wheel will spin freely like it should normally. The minute I drive it and of course brake it comes right back.
If it is only the one front wheel overheating, it has to be something that only affects that wheel. That would rule out the master cylinder and the proportioning valve seems to me. That leaves the brake line, caliper, and maybe the abs.
