Mirror pins?

My driver's side mirror is loose, and after I pulled the mirror from the housing, I noticed one of the little white pins is broken. I got the ball end of it out of the front plate and tightened up the metal clips that they slide into, so I think it is fixable...

... if I can find any of those little white pins. Anyone know if they are available? I'm not having any luck tracking them down, and I'd rather not have to buy two new matching mirrors.

x2 on glc's recommendation.

I've need all sorts of little clips and pieces, and found them for free at autobody shops. You just need to find the right one...

Well, not necessarily free, but a couple bucks won't break you.

I don't mind a couple bucks, but I doubt I will find them. Places around here would just replace the whole mirror...not take it apart to remove a little white plastic part.

check the body shops, those little clips are generally all over the automotive world, in all sorts of stuff, they are probably not mirror specific

The part I need is internal to the mirror assembly. It's the little white pin that slides into a metal clip to hold the mirror in the housing. Not a normal part that body shops have lying around, since they would replace the whole mirror, or at least the entire front glass assembly.

I'll probably go browse around some pull-a-part yards and see if I can find any old broken mirrors that they'll let me take apart
