Seat swaps....

I have an unusual question...My drivers seat to my 1999 F150 Lariat is shot, I have been cruising junkyards looking for either F-150 or Expeditions looking for another gray leather seat and have struck out....I saw a few later models and wonder if the seats will structurally fit from a later model F150 or Expedition/Navigator. I know the wiring plugs will be different but will the seat physically mount in the same place.

Just wondering

Thanks

You need to stick to your generation of F150/250 or up to 2002 I believe for the Expedition or Navi. The bolt holes will not line up if you deviate from these years. I swapped my bench seat from my 97 for a 60/40 with the armrest a few months back.

You could also go get them reupholstered with something nicer too.

No and Yes. Salvage yard guy told me that the front seat frame front feet are slightly different for the latter years (01-04), but all you have to do is bend them a bit and they will fit.
