2001 f150 screw. Transmission
Hello I am needing some help. I have a 2001 5.4 screw 4x4. Transmission is out 4r70w. Can pick up a rebuilt trans out of a 1999. Will This trans work in my 2001 or is there a difference in these.

The 1999 should work.
It's the 97-98 where there were some mechanical bits.
Depending on what's wrong it, might not be a bad idea to just get the one you got rebuilt depending on how much you are spending on the one out of the 1999.
