FYI for truck not starting despite despite cranking property

There have been several threads on here regarding trucks not starting after running for awhile.
My symptoms were:

1. Truck would not start after driving for 15 minutes or more, then stopping to enter a store/restaurant/establishment. Upon returning to the truck it would occasionally not start despite cranking normally (starter turning over at the normal rate)
2. If the truck sat for 30 minutes or more it would start just fine.
3. It didn't fail every time, just enough to cause me concern over it's reliability. (Maybe once a week or so this would happen with a truck driven 4 or 5 times a week)

I dropped the truck off at a trusted and long time mechanic last week. He kept it two days and called to say he was pretty sure he fixed the problem.

He replaced the PCM power relay. I have driven the truck multiple times over the past 4 days and the problem has not returned. I am assuming he diagnosed correctly. He said his instruments showed a short across the PCM relay that might have prevented the fuel pump from engaging.

Hope this helps others.

Thanks ManualF150, always someone on this forum to help fill in all the blanks. Now if you just could have caught me before I posted that error riddled title!!!

Truck still running/starting great, not exhibiting previous symptoms.
