I lost one set of key/remote years ago for my 2003 F150 Supercrew. Recently, my remote fell off and lost it. Now, I only got 1 key with no remote. Where/how do you get a replacement keys/remotes without being gouged?

I found some blank remotes for about $20 each. From their videos, you turn the ignition 5 times on/off, then hit the remote to program it. How about the key, is it normal key or it has special chip inside it?

All F150's starting in 1999 have PATS, which uses a chipped key. You better go get that key cloned before you lose it too. Walmart is as good as any for the key, should be about 50 bucks for the key, cutting, and cloning.
