Wiper issues

Wipers will not work in drive, first, second, or reverse. However they will work in neutral and park. I can set them in neutral at one speed and shift back into drive but then I have no control of the speed of wipers what so ever untill I switch back to neutral. They will be stuck at whatever speed I set them in while in neutral or park. In drive or any other gear I can't turn them off or on or faster or slower, Can't make the pissers work, nothing. All works normal when in park or drive. I have absolutely no clue what's going on as I didn't believe any gear would have anything to do with wiper functions

The only thing common is the location of the Multi function switch and the shifter in the column.
Wring harness maybe in that location has some problem?
Good luck.
