Newbie questions

Hi, I'm new to trucks and truck parts, well vehicles in general. My first truck is an 03' F-150 XLT 4wd, and it has a 3" Lift. I was wondering the largest tire size that I can fit without modifications? I plan on putting a 6" Lift on it and hoping for some Nitto mud grapplers but not sure on size, I am looking for some that poke out past the fenders a bit. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

I believe 35s will fit, but 33s will probably look better

I had 35x12.50 on 16" wheel with small lift and it rubbed a lil. But most people think rubbing means doesn't fit. That's redonkulous. I now have 33x13.50 on 18" wheel and just a leveling kit. I agree 33s will def look better
