Running fine, then today is dead dead.

Hey guys, I've got a 2000 f-150, 5.4. Runs like a champ, but today I went out to go to work and it's completely dead. No lights, no cab lights, no power locks. Just tried jumping it, the cab lights turned on for a second, turned the key, and everything died again. I turned the key again, theres no clicks. Please help. Thanks.

Most likely cause for no power is
1. dead battery due to leaving lights on
2. corrosion at battery terminals
3. wiring damage such as rodents chewing through wires or blown fusible link.

to solve
1. recharge/replace battery
2. clean terminals, then replace/recharge battery
3. fix wires
