power steering pump
Just some looking for info on changing out my Power steering pump on my 02' f150 4x4 hopefully before snow flies.
Anyway, I think/ pretty sure I need 3A674(STP-86-RM) , but I also see that STP-130RM may work too.... so my question is, which is right and what is the difference???
Well and also, how big of a chore is it to change one out? Getting the drive pulley swapped seems to be one of the top hemorrhoids
Anyway, I think/ pretty sure I need 3A674(STP-86-RM) , but I also see that STP-130RM may work too.... so my question is, which is right and what is the difference???

The 86 and 130 are essentially the same, one part number alt's the other. Check out rockauto, cheaper than most places I've found ($104+$75 core). Biggest pain in the butt will be the pulley, it's no fun, but never is. Best thing to do is just play soothing music in the background and prepare to cuss the puller like it brought shame upon your family.
I guess that what I was finding too that they are one in the same.
