Is there an aftermarket metal tailgate handle that fits well? I would prefer not to install another plastic handle.

 

Off hand, I would say that is doubtful. Unless there is a whole aftermarket tailgate, & that would have a metal one. ( like a flow through tailgate for campers and such)

LMC has a few options but willing to bet that there are all plastic even if they are chromed.

 

Thanks for the info. You were correct about LMC, they were all plastic. Any suggestions about the best place to get the OEM handle?
