Replace The Heater Hoses??

I have a 2001 5.4l F150. 130,000 miles.
Have been pretty diligent in preventive maintenance since I take this truck from Florida to Minnesota and back every summer 1800 miles one way.
But I have never replaced the heater hoses.
It looks like from many of the postings that this is not the easiest job including the hose going into the water pump where it looks the like the intake manifold has to be pulled to replace it.
My question is should I replace the hoses?
I have not experienced leaks and they look good from what I can see.
But don't want a serious leak in the middle of nowhere either.
Should I replace them or leave well enough alone and hope if a leak does start it will be small and give me enough time to deal with it without an emergency stop along the road?

Leave it alone.
It's the same amount of work now or later.
If you do it now, you have the time element in your favor for the concern you have..
Otherwise what value is there guessing on a future failure.
Good luck.?
