Can any one confirm if a door from an extended cab will work on a regular cab?

I noticed that junk yards list a different part number for the regular cab and the extended cab but cant find a difference or anywhere online that will confirm it.

Both trucks in questions are 97s

 

Just a guess, but I think the drivers' doors should be the same but not the passenger side.

 

Yeah.... Thats the one i need. Im going to look at the donor truck tomorrow and should be able to find out if i take a tape. I know that the passenger side has the third door but the latch is still on the 3rd door. So here is to luck!!
