Sick little 1998 F150- GEM module?
Hello, I’m sure that I am not the only poor soul out here who has apparently had the GEM module go out on their ‘98 F150 XLT...but here’s where I need some educated help…
The dealer says the part number for the replacement GEM module is: EL3Z-14B205-BRM… a quick check shows it to be discontinued. Can’t get it… HOWEVER, the original part number was F85Z-14B205-MA… as you guessed, also, discontinued- not available.
HOWEVER, I have found several of FB5B-14B205-MA available…So, does that one stinkin letter B vs Z make a real difference?
Hoping someone that knows Fords part numbering system can assist!
