Look for vacuum leaks, the PCV elbow behind the intake is the prime suspect. Can also be caused by an exhaust leak before the O2.

Please, always post the exact code.

Follow the line from the PCV valve to the back of the engine. Where it connects to the throttle body has a rubber elbow that cracks and rots out. You have to do this by feel.

I think ya all need to start over again.
A 701 code is the transmission shift selector switch out of adjustment or faulty.
There has been no codes offered to support a lean condition; only words.
Good luck.

As I said, check the PCV elbow behind the intake/throttle body. Any exhaust leaks?

Bank one is passenger side, not driver's side.

Follow the pcv line to the back of the intake. Kind of hard to get your hands back there. Most of the time that is the source of that code. Good luck.

You posted code p 0701 which is a transmission code and stated that you had a lean code on bank 1. I would have said the same thing as Bluegrass.
Based on your new code I would clean the MAF reset the codes and see what pops up.

This kind of response is not new to me.
I hear it a couple times a month.
The posters are usually younger, shallow thinkers and somewhat selfish.
The last one came to ask for help;
I offered help based on the original post.
The reply was 'I am a 35 year mechanic on Diesels' and don't need that kind of help, yet he came to ask for help and never indicated his background in the first post.
What I usually do is just not return to offer anymore help.
Those who take that position are often left stranded because we never know if they will 'bite'.

Good luck.
