Brake issues

Hi everyone. First post here. I have a 2003 rcsb 2wd 4.2 5 speed. A few days ago my front brakes started squeaking. My front rotors are slightly warped as well.

I stopped by Orilleys and picked up a new set of pads, I put them on saturday and I "set" them, theyre fine at high speeds but when I start getting slower (>20 mph) they grind BADLY. As if they were down to bare metal.

I'm going to get my rotors turned tomorrow, but my old pads didnt grind at all. So I'm wondering what the cause could be? They were cheaper pads so should I try a new set?

Also, it feels like the new pads are dragging and sticking.
So like I said, if anyone has any suggestions PLEASE tell me

Cheap pads are a major mistake. I put ceramic pads and premium rotors on mine at 65k, it now has 181k on it and still has those brakes. Not a speck of brake dust either.

If they are dragging and sticking, the calipers may be sticking - when you take it apart again, thoroughly clean and lube the sliders.

So I figured I should update this thread. I took my brakes apart today. I had noticed my right side was grabbing so I went there first.
Now I feel like the biggest f&$#*%$ idiot. I guess between the cold and being sick I was delusional enough to install one of the pads on BACKWARDS :wallbash::wallbash::censored::censored:
The pad was obviously pretty torn up. It was on the side with the pistons so I swapped the two pads over (Didnt know if the rough surface would make a difference or not). Now I differently need to get these rotors turned ASAP
So should I replace those that pad, or will the old one be fine?
Man do I feel stupid
