Hey guys, Im relatively new to being a member of the site but i have been researching online for months. I have read several threads in regards to engine swaps and building these engines for horsepower. My question is this, I have an 2wd 2000 f150 with a 4.6 in it and a 4x4 1999 expedition with a 5.4 in it. The engine will swap over and if a change a few components in the 5.4 transmission it will swap over as well( I believe i will have to change the output shaft for it to work on my 2wd)? My main question is this though, what components will i need to build this engine for horsepower? Im new to this and the threads all suggest so many different things, I'm very lost. I understand that a supercharger would be the best for power gain but I'm wanting to learn/know more about the internals and components i will need. Sorry for asking questions that have been answered previously but I can't find direct answers. Thank you in advance for any responses.
