Transmission bracket
I just need some information,my truck wich is a 99 4.2 has an rattle noise at the transmission bracket that goes to exhaust pipe,can I remove this bracket?? Because soon I loose the nut the noise seemed to disappear

Hey, did you ever figure out this problem? I just bought a 99 4.2 5 spd and the transmission makes a loud noise when engaging.

When I press down rpm goes up but doesn't increase in speed.

I wouldn't say it shakes and shuddered.
If I don't turn off o.d. it finally feels like it shifts and it feels kind of like we're getting rear ended
