2001 upper control arms

I have a 200 f150 4×4. I changed my upper control arms today. When I took it to get an alignment, they called me and said I was missing the camber eccentric plates. My question is, does the control arms come from the factory with these plates? My truck did not have them.

No they don't, that's an aftermarket kit that makes alignment a lot easier and it doesn't come with the new UCA. Just have the alignment shop install them. A decent shop will know exactly what to get and install.

The factory has rectangle plates that do not allow for adjustment.
Aftermarket has round cam head and allows for significant adjustment.

Patman, do you recommend installing the aftermarket camber plates?

I do. First time I took mine in for an alignment, the shop told me they couldn't get a perfect alignment without them.
