5.4 SVT MS3X log file?
5.4 SVT MS3X log file?
Hi All. I hav been building an old 63 comet. i have swap in a ford f150 svt lightning engine with upgraded supercharger from 2003. I have no clue about how to megasquirt, but since the project have been for 6 years, i really want to try starting it. So does anybody have a fully log file for their set lightning 5.4 engine? I am willing to pay a small fee for getting one? Thanks.

Having been involved with the Megasquirt system on a push rod motor, I am curious what all you have on the motor to use the system.
What does Megasquirt say about this?
First place is the signal ring on the crank. Does it match the system your using?
What have you done for ignition?
How has the camshaft sensor been incorporated into the fuel control for injector timing?
Ox sensors in the system?
Intake Air control?
What is system of injector control, batch or sequential fire?
You need a starting fuel and ignition timing curve files to begin with , then work it out to satisfaction by file changes.
Beware of using a supercharger with timing that is to aggressive.
All done on your Lap top computer.
You may be informed of all this already but it's good to know what you have.
It's certainly an interesting project to include a super charger.
We recently did a centrifugal blower on a 5.8L Lightening and added an engineering project fuel control based on Ox sensor feedback for a collage class project.
Worked fine but needs further refinement for max power as any project would need.
Good luck.
