5.4 2V Ticking

I have, from what I can find, a very common problem with the 5.4 2V motors. The motor has a slight tick on the right side, at the front, on the top. The ticking is constant through all RPM ranges. The problem I am having is I can not narrow down what is actually causing the problem. What I can tell you is it is not an exhaust leak, the lashing is set properly, and all spark plugs are in tight. I have heard it could be a timing chain/tensioner, injectors, ETC. Does anyone have a idea of what it could be? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You just listed what it could be...

What oil and filter do you use?
