Air trapped in coolant system after heater core replacement?

I replaced my heater core in my 01 super crew 5.4l 4x4 last weekend. After I was done I filled up my coolant and took it for a test drive. Everything works fine and runs good but there is a gurgling/swooshing noise coming from the heater core area during decent acceleration and when rpms are 2000 and above. I have tried getting it up to temperature and squeezing the upper radiator hose after the thermostat has opened. Also driven it for around 50 miles over 5 days, heat on and off, but I continues to make the noise. The heater core I installed is an aftermarket one and the tubes coming off of the heater core are crimped on and did rotate a little. I plugged one tube off and blew in the other and there were no leaks so I put it in the truck. Could this be sucking air in or causing issues? Any input would be helpful because this is driving me nuts! Thanks in advance!

Do a Google search on how to burp a F-150 cooling system. There's a specific procedure.

I googled it and every post says something different. I have tried lifting the front end up and letting the engine get up to temperature with the reservoir cap off. Then I squeezed the top radiator hose, then held the rpms around 2000 rpm for a few minutes. Didn't help? What is the proper way to burp an f150s cooling system ?

leave the cap OFF of the radiator reservoir until the thermostat has opened a couple of times. That will bleed the air out..

Just start it when it is cold and let it idle with the radiator reservoir tank cap off until it warms up and thermos stat opens? Heater on or off?

It can help if the front of the truck is on an incline or even raised up. Burping the air out, for me is very simple. could be the off brand heater core is trapping air..

While maybe not being necessary, one of these is a big help in getting air out of a cooling system.

As far as I know my truck doesn't have a normal radiator cap on the radiator so I don't think the funnel kit would work. I might go have a power flush done and see if that pushes the air out.

The funnel goes on the plug on the crossover tube, not the degas bottle.

You can do your own flush with one of these:

You will need to cut the heater inlet hose.

I had it flushed and it is still making noise. I think it is the heater core. The tubes coming off of the heater core were just crimped on and I think they got banged around during shipping. They were able to rotate so maybe it is sucking air in the system or something?

I would think it would leak coolant before it sucks air.
