intake problem
hey guys new member here, got a 03 f150 4.2L it had a cold air intake i replaced it with the original one it will start but it wont stay on. thanks in advance

If it ran ok before the change, sounds like the air meter is not plugged up or a hose is not sealing and causing an air leak.
Recheck everything.

It sounds like your taking unmetered air. It should have thrown a code CEL should be on . Scan it and you will get an answer

Engine switched off whle in reverse. No codes and I was able to start it.
