Happy new year all.

A question to the group as I have a 03 KR and would like to 'spiff it up' a bit. Will the H-D supercharged engine swap work or should I just get a new super charger from the start?

Also, was told that the 5.7L engine sounds like crap when removing the cats, I live in Alabama so no inspection worry. I took off the mufflers and the fake duals out the back in favor of a side mount stock look. Sound ok but not a head turner.

Just want to up the engine by 30 to 75 horses and looking for best way. Dont want a vet killer but dont want to be embarrassed at the light.

Been a damn fine truck and was bought new, now has several cross country trips under its belt and want to give her a little bit of umph.

I believe you meant 5.4? I had the rear cats cut off mine, it sounds great. Here's a video of all 4 cut off. (Not mine)
