New plugs, Newb mechanic needs help

Hey guys :P I'm not really a mechanic but I love working on cars and so today I decided to change my plugs since my 1997 4.6L was getting REALLY bad gas mileage and I did it after a lot of work since some of the plugs are buried but I'm worried that since I wasn't able to afford to change the wires with the plugs that maybe one spark plug would quit working.

ALSO I unbolted the fuel injector "Line Thingy" the silver piping that runs above the injectors and one time when I pushed it not too hard but hard enough I swear I heard an "air leak" sound... is that bad or am I just being paranoid since I bolted the piping back to the engine I assume its fine....

anyways if anyone could tell me what problems to look out for and their symptoms that would be awesome but for now She purrs like a kitten and runs like a Mustang >

heres a video of it idling notice the "clicking" as I like to call it.... other than that noise it sounds really good imo

P.S What the heck happens if one plug stops working 0_0

IDLING VIDEO->

Was it clicking before the plug change? If not, better make sure they are all tight. Torque to 28ft.lbs. no anti-seize. The silver piping is the fuel rail, and I never unbolt mine when I change the plugs, no reason to.

I can tell you that the plug wires on the '97 and '98 are very prone to degrading and failure. Replace them ASAP. Use only Motorcraft wires as most aftermarket wires don't cut it. You can order Motorcraft wires at a substantial discount from Tousley Ford as well as Amazon, etc.

The fuel line issue is another matter. Just bolt it back up and see if you get any fuel leaks. If so, just remove the leaking injector, lube the O-ring and reset in the chrome line.

I watched a previous video I took of it idling and it sounds the same I think I may have just been looking for a problem :/ if I let it idle for a few minutes would I be able to spot a fuel leak?
