Just put new stinkin lightning and svt badges on my 99 supercrew they were under the seat with the build sheet i think the factory left them there

 

Nothing worse than a Lightning POSER! Take 'em off!

I have Lightning headlamps and turn signals and that's it. Have had them in since about 6 months into 2000 after I bought the truck. I still once in awhile get called a poser by Lightning owners and a few that want to buy them because they are in better shape then theirs

 

I have no problems with using Lightning equipment like headlights and tail lights, etc, but slapping on Lightning label is laughable. First, everyone knows it's not a Lightning, and it brands you as an idiot.

I have seen them on a Chevy Z71 running around here. I like you think its laughable. I have also seen quite a few re-badged models of all kinds running around. " Type R " Fusion was the latest one with badges on the trunk lid and fenders. I installed the headlights/turns as I hated the fluted ones it came with on the reg 150 models.

I think the poster joined to stir the pot. They wouldn't have the emblems and badging under the seat in a supercrew build line I`m pretty sure.
