I wanted to check and see if there are any free (i.e. Ford) service manuals for 1997-2003 trucks. I did find a link on this site from several years ago to the Ford Fleet Services website, but it appears they now have all their manuals behind a paywall.

If not, what's the best repair manual? Haynes? Or the official Ford manuals?

 

The official Ford manuals would be the best.

 

Are they free or is there a cost? Where's the best place to get them?
