2 wheel to 4 wheel abs??

Quick question about the abs on our trucks... My 97 only has rear abs. I did some looking and i found what looks like the plugs you would plug the sensors into on the front. I am not too surprised as ford used basically the same wiring harness between trucks.

I am due for some front end work and was wondering if i bought the hubs with the sensors, what else has to be done to make the 4 wheel abs work? Some fuses? Or does the proportioning valve have to be changed as well?

If it's totally out of the realm of possibility that is fine, I just thought if i was going to have it apart any way.... why not make that change if it's possible...

Anyway, thanks for any thoughts and comments!

OH! the truck is a 97 reg cab 4x4 off road 5.4

Our system has one ABS sensor but it controls (releases) all 4 wheels if it detects the start of a rear skid. if your back brakes are bad or have air in the lines the front will skid all day because the rear is not starting to skid.
I am almost to the point of installing a proportioning valve and adjusting it so I can have good stopping power front and rear, then re install the ABS fuse.
also these look pretty.
