I'm back! 2001 f150
yea the gargae is stuffed full right now of parts but haveing them all off the truck i can get them all preped and sheet metal work done if i need to drive it then hopefully be able to paint and assemble in 2 weekends. after color sand and buff like a crazy man once it all cures for a while.
in the meantime I completed the exhaust manifolds, all new calipers and brackets, rotors and pads, new shocks, new leaf spring brackets and angers with bushings, next will be full exhaust. starting to drive like a new truck again, and decided to paint it blue...go figure hahahaha!
Seeing all these pics makes me glad I moved away from NY and its winters and salt. No rust to worry about here in 15yrs on my current truck so far.
Great job on the work and parts so far. It will be fun watching it all come together and back together and painted.

Looks like its coming along nice. Curious of why you didn't paint the bed and rear of cab first before putting all back together? Wish I had a shop area that large to work on my stuff .
I'm still in process of doing all the doors rockers and core support. Once I get everything fitted and in primer ill block the whole truck out so the bodylines are perfect then pull it all back apart and decided to change the color. Looks like this year she's getting run in primer and sealer. next spring will be re primed and shot in PPG L2 true blue metallic and 3 to 4 coats of clear.

Thanks! then its on to the fun stuff such as lift tires ect....got big plans for this one.
Quick update. Found my 2 front cats were shot so I opted (since I put new exhaust manifolds on) to delete my front 2 cats, run 2 magnaflow high flow cats and ordered a Dynomax full stainless single in dual out exhaust kit. I went through and replace every last inch of break line as well. Next on the list is core support and rockers ive been putting off LOL.
