Swapping out back seat in 2003 F-150 King Ranch captains chairs for a bench seat
Has anyone swapped out captains chairs for a bench seat in a 2003 F-150 King Ranch ? any extra brackets needed for seat belts ? direct swap ? and which bench fits read some where that a Larait bench will bolt in directly can anyone confirm this ? Thanks
I went the other way from 60/40 to two 40 seats. I need your lower frame and bracket that is coming off your driver side.
And I have a 60% seat out of the truck if you need any parts off of it just let me know

Thanks , I don't have the truck yet ! its for my brother and if its an easy swap he will buy the truck but needs the extra seat for his family. is it easier to go from captains chairs to buckets (you said you need a bracket) or the other way , its also important for the extra seat belt with our rules here in Canada. If he ends up getting the truck I could ask him to send you the seats if you still need them.
The floor of the truck should have a medal hoop for the seat to latch onto when in the upright position. It will be to the left of center at the back wall of the truck.
I had to drill a single hole in the floor, it is a doable swap tho

I realize it seems counter intuitive but depending on how often he would use all 5 seats it would actually be a straight up bolt in swap if he swaps the front (passenger) seat from a 40% seat into a 60% with the fold down arm rest.
