2002 ford f150 lariat cruise control not working

I have a 2002 ford f150 . I just came out of the store and unlocked my truck with my alarm remote and the horn wouldn't shut off. So I disconnected the horn. The relay was clicking and my cruise control isn't working. Anyone have any ideas of what to do?

Disconnect battery for 15 mins; reconnect and try it again.

There is a test diagnostic sequence available right off the steering wheel.
Key on and begin the test button operation within 5 seconds an observe the dash lamp..
At the end of the test a flash code appears for any function not working.
Try this first. Do a search for the test and follow it closely.
There is no reset by powering down because the system has no long term memory or program it runs on.
You turn it on, and make your speed set. It applies throttle control vs speed from the VSS circuit. You either change set speed, suspend with a key, pulse increase or decrease speed via the set key, turn it off manually or cut it off with brake application.,
Basically the master cylinder switch supplies power to the system. Is there power there? Has the fuse blown etc?
The brake switch 'applies' power to knock the CC off. The Master cylinder switch 'cuts' power when in CC to have two ways to knock the system off in case of braking while in use.
I have no idea what the horn would have to do with your CC but in 'some' vehicles blowing the horn knocks CC off as a third safety while in use.
Good luck.
