Mid Travel F150 KIT
Mid Travel F150 KIT
So, first truck I ever purcahse don my own was a 2004 Ford f150 Heritage. I bought it for 13,500 brand new from a dealer in Vegas and it got me through college and a couple years thereafter. It's since been retired and used as a work truck, trash, truck, hauling dirt, mulch, rocks, etc... I've always kept it maintained, but it's been on the back burner forever.
After college I added a spindle lift, spacer, and body lift. I didn't have a lot of coin and wanted something a little bit better. Drove it like that a solid 50,000 miles and I moved to Maryland ---> Where they had vehicle inspections and I could not pass inspection with tires protruding beyond the fenders. So, I was forced to remove the spindles and larger tires. To date, that stuff never went back on.
Now, I got a little jingle in the pocket and do not want to ruin my '13 Ecoboost and am looking for a toy. My old 150 might just fit the bill
So, who is currently producing a 2wd mid-travel kit for the 97-03 f150 and if happens to have one please provide input. From what I can tell, the market appears to have dried up for this truck and not much mde anymore

Theres not really a mid travel kit made for this body style anymore unless you go custom. I contacted BTF fab out in Cali to build me a mid-travel kit, it uses new control arms that are wider than stock by approx 2", has uniballs upper and lower, fabricated lift spindle that uses the stock press in snout. All heim steering, double sheer on the spindle. I also had them make a custom lift spring, that is slightly taller than a normal lift spring, but has a lower rate for the softer ride/ easier suspension travel. Shocks I will be using are 10" Fox's that I will need to drill out the top mount and make a custom hoop to fit them.
I have yet to put it on, but should be able to get approx 13" of travel, but thats when the lower uniball maxes out.
the rear: sky jacker 5" lift softride leafs that will be modified with removing the thicker overloads and adding the thinneer leafs from my stock pack, almong with a lowering shackle to level it.
