Rocker panels rust
Rocker panels rust
Hey guys I'm new to the forum. I have 03 f150 screw. I was hoping to get some help with rust issues. A co worker of mine pointed out that my rocker panels were rusting and I never noticed till then. And they are just getting worse every day. I wanna get fix em but is there a simple way that's not gonna break the bank. Any help would be appreciated.... Thanks guys

You will need new rocker panel welded in. You can get replacement panels from LMC truck.

You can also buy them from RockAuto.com I bought both sides plus the cab corners, did them both the rocker panels and the cab corners both sides. Cost was all of a couple hundred bucks. If you've never done any body work then you might want to take it to a shop. I did one side completely then the other side, bought a couple can's matched paint and Walla looks as good as new. I sprayed some marine foam in behind the panels after spraying undercoating in there sure seems a lot quieter now. Now no moisture can get caught up in there, should last a bit longer.
LMC has always been a little pricey in the past. Have used them as a last resort.
