I have a 2000 f150 7700 XLT 5.4l v8 when i turn the key to start the engine it wont start it makes a clicking sound under the dash . I put a new battery and solenoid in and still nothing all dash and interior lights come on too.

 

If the starter does not put a load on the battery, likely hood is the starter brushes are hung up in their holders and worn from age.
The cable from the firewall relay to starter could be faulty.
Not much else to go wrong.
