I have a 2001 f150 ( 7700 series truck ) never heard of the 7700 series if anyone has any details that would be helpful. Here are a few problems I've encountered. 1. The metal crossover bracket has sprung a leak and i hear now that I have to remove the intake to get to the tight bolts. thoughts ... 2. Wipers only respond when it is in neutral, reverse or park.. Not when in drive. oh it's a 5.4 motor with 179 k any details and or advice on these problems please private message me if possible. New to the sight. Thanks

 

You will need to replace the intake manifold. You will find that where the metal crossover mounts to the composite intake, there will be a crack. Some have tried temporary repairs but they never hold. It will need replaced.

 

The 7700 is a heavy duty package, replaced the F-250 Light Duty. It has a 10.25" rear and 7 lug wheels.
