Pressure feedback sensor: Advice

Bought a "new" 2001 F150 Lariat 5.4l. Came with check engine code that indicates "Differential Pressure Feedback Sensor upstream hose off or plugged" problem.

The hoses appear good/unplugged.

Any advice on this issue? I realize I could just replace the sensor, but I don't want to blow $35-$60 before I hear what else may accompany this problem.

Truck seems to operate just fine.

DPFE is a pretty common issue

I believe replacing the sensor is all it takes

Well, ordered the sensor; got it for $25 off eBay, instead of $55 at parts store. Installed yesterday. Of course, the hoses were rotted all to hell, so had to replace. Drove today and all is good.

They weren't leaking before I tried to remove them.
