I have a 2002 ford f150 Xlt Sport. When i lock the doors and then shut them the lights light up which leads me to believe i might have key less entry but i don't know. Also when i am drive the doors lock automatically so that makes me think that as well. So how do i know if i have it or not?

 

You can try the program feature. Turn the key to the on position 8 times within 10 seconds. So beginning in the off, to On is one time. Then off, on, off, on etc... Finishing in the on position on the 8th time. You have to do it pretty quick and within 10 seconds. If the door locks go up and down when you finish, then it is ready to accept a keyless FOB. Simply turn it off to exit the programming mode. If that works, you can pick up a FOB and program it that way.

I believe you have to be in the truck with the doors closed to do this. Or maybe drivers door open? I forget.
