03 F150 screw king ranch.

I am looking for a 97-03 SCREW, I had a 02 scab that was 2wd and I unloaded it (regret). I really wanted a 4wd and still do. I am now truckless I have been looking for a replacement for about a year know. I found an 03 screw 4x4 king ranch, interior is easily a 9-10 (has aftermarket radio). The exterior is in just as good shape nearly flawless. The bad 190K on the clock. The asking price is 7k....I guess I need to know if that kind of mileage would/should be a deal breaker. Thanks

Sorry I did not use search.

That's well under private party book - which is about $9500 assuming it has a 5.4.

To my limited knowlege? If the seats are not split, You can oil them, You have to work at it, but they can be softened, & brought back.

Yup, if not cracked or torn, the seats can usually be brought back to a decent condition (I used leather CPR on mine).

The King Ranch forum has detailed threads on how to care for the KR leather.

It really depends, I bought my truck at 5k, it is a '97 F-150 with 160k miles (at the time), 4x4 extended cab short bed. Given the facts that it is an 03, with less than 190k miles with aftermarket pieces, I would say 7k is well worth it. Plus the nice cow leather on the interior is a great bonus. It just depends on how the truck performs on a test drive.

I don't think that level of mileage should be an issue in the year trucks you are looking at, mine has 191K and still runs like a top.
