grinding noise

ok so my girlfriend and I went out driving yesterday and at a 4 way stop i was turning right. well someone ran the stop sign which caused me to take the turn more narrow and my back wheel popped the curb. just after that happened we both hear a grinding sound that seems to be coming from the front right wheel well. it only does it when im going 20 and under and when i make a right turn. It doesnt really sound like metal on metal because its not to loud but you can definently hear it. Hope i gave enough info. if not just ask for more. thanks guys

Check to see if the backing plate is hitting the rotor. Either way, pull a wheel and look.

2wd. i have an update unfortunately. I was driving home from school and as I turned my friend and I hear a pop noise and air. Almost like we got a flat tire. and then when i pressed the brakes the grinding was absolutely terrible. Metal on metal noise and very very loud. Braking was almost non existant and the brakes seem to lock up at one point. It only seemed to come from the right front fender well again. Couldnt drive any farther and had to have it towed away to a shop. Anyone care to update me as to what may be going on before the shop can so i can figure what its gonna cost me? thanks

Is it a stock setup (tires, wheels, suspension) or have you changed things up ? If it's not stock then you may have hit something hard on the sharp emergency turn because of insufficient clearances.

Can't say what the damage is but (just a guess) maybe a broken brake line (the pop and hiss), except I'd have expected mention of the pedal to going to the floor and a lot of fluid. Did you notice any of that ?

as to my knowledge and observations of the suspension and everything the truck is completely stock. we bought it from a guy on craigslist. but when we did a walk around to check for a flat it didnt look like there was a fluid anywhere. we drove down the road alittle bit to get in the parking lot but i would expect little drops to still fall. I was to scared to push the pedal all the way because even the slightest touch would make the horrible grinding noise. if its any help as i would push the brake even the slightest bit my truck would hop as if the shell was trying to come off the frame but we would still move and if we did come to a complete stop it was very violent and then you would hear a loud pop. im assuming the brakes were locking up because when id accelerate again you would hear a pop again like it was unlocking. sorry for the long paragraphs guys im just giving the whole run down
