coin spring mod?
I pulled my Coil pack, had a #5 misfire. I found this ...

can anyone identify this?
Found on #5 and #7. that's as far as I got last night. This one broke while cleaning.

What motor do you have?
You may have some hardware unique to your import rules for these trucks.
I never saw what is shown in the photo except for the spring.
There isn't room for much more in the plug well unless a different coil and plug combination is used.

@ Bluegrass.
this came out of a 1999 f-150 5.4 L
4x4. The engine with the Oil weeping problem.
The Coil spring is shorter than The one I replaced it with last night. Spoke to a Gal at O'rielly. She said it maybe a Kit From MSD ??
