2002 F150 issues
SUCCESS!!! I have been running this thread as well on the Mach 1 registry. A guy there said a simple sentence" Fuse 1.23 is blown under hood", he bet his wallet!! Well, remember ALL those codes?, I goggle 1.23 and got this (save this link..awesome

When you look at 1.23, it runs ALL the circuits for the DTC's I had (it provides power to alot of sensors). I looked in fuse box, 15 A fuse, replaced and presto. I cranked truck, OD light on shifter stop blinking AND A/C started working, truck ran sweet. So, for others, if your OD light starts to blink and your truck starts running like crap..FIRST check Fuse 1.23...Thanks everyone.

Congratulations! When you posted all the codes it rang a bell, there are people on here that have had the same issue. Theirs was a simple fuse also.
Might have saved a bunch of time if you could have posted all the DTC's sooner though. anyhoo glade you got it fixed.

Thanks, I didn't realize my SCT handheld from my Mach 1 would work to read codes in truck, still have alot of condensation and some black coming out exhaust so have to run it long enough to get heated up, A/C is on a "I may work, I may not" schedule..anyway thanks all, as you can see by my post count I try not to waste anyones time, I DO use the search alot (which is coming again concerning tail light and door moulding)..have a nice day!
Thanks, and the s**t continues. First, I got a new drivers tail light, the bulb was blown in the old cracked one, only one bolt holding light in, it had an amber bulb (yes amber), and the connector was wrong and someone had taken a wood crew and screwed connector to housing, I changed power mirror switch, have an antenna assembly on the way, rear glass resealed ($75) and greased seat rails. This morning I figured I would drive it to work as a FINAL shakedown..oh, this is classic, now I know why truck would shut off when I slammed the hood. As I was driving down dirt road (thank god close to house), truck and all lighting died and I could smell a fire. I popped hood and positive battery connector was GLOWING bright orange. I doused water on it, recranked truck and went back home. When I came home today and looked, battery terminal was hitting hood and grounded and arced on hood with hole burnt in the insulation. I rewired with new connectors and for added insurance took a piece of rubber mat and mounted under hood insulation, but I trimmed a battery fill cap and was able to get terminal flush with battery and fusible link out the way. NOW when I turn key, gages do not go backwards first, interior lights bright and truck runs sweet..so will try to drive to work again. The radio display fix didn't work, re- soldered resistors, but when I took face off a piece of the GLASS display fell out, so she has stereo with no display, no odometer and I got her a quote to replace windshield ($200), hopefully she will get it Saturday and bring back my baby...thanks guys. Lol, she still is ex, had to show pic of tail light bulb connector I found in housing with wood screw, I then did a mod to a connector I had that at least screws into the housing. Replaced as well brake pad and power mirror switch.

Question...since I did all the power battery deal, the center display that has the Temp/Direction on the headliner now says the word "Cal" (which I guess means "calibrate")..how can I get rid /reset this??? (Never saw this in my 2002).

I doubt she did, she gave me $200 of the $400 I spent, and ANOTHER issue I have never seen has come up maybe someone can address. You turn dial to full heat (red), put control on panel/floor and the A/C compressor cycles off and on, move to just "panel" or just "floor". and A/C compressor shuts off. Also the blending of cold/hot does nothing as well. You put on heat and heat is wide open. Any ideas of what to check?? Thanks AGAIN in advance.

Mach 1, You are tenacious! You hung in there and fixed most if not all the problems! Many of us (me) would have given up and driven it out in the woods and shot it between the head lights! Ha!
